Haley Knighten Studio | Southern Contemporary Artist

Hi, I'm Haley.

I'm a Southern contemporary artist based in Charlotte, North Carolina, painting expressive swans, botanicals, landscapes, and the occasional subject I simply can't get out of my head.

I describe my work as moody maximalism with Southern soul—a mix of traditional subjects, expressive brushwork, layered color, and a little unexpected edge. I'm drawn to deep blues, earthy browns, softened greens and warm neutrals; to rooms that feel collected rather than decorated; and to beautiful things that get better with age.

The ones who are always there. Always involved. Always somehow in the middle of it.
